Laurie considers herself blessed to have had the opportunity to share the lives of remarkable people, whose achievements stand as a direct reflection of Messiah College’s commitment to individualism and exploration.  Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida.  For the past 20 years, she has worked as a marketing manager, writer, and campaign coordinator for primarily large organizations seeking to promote their brand.

Laurie enjoys gardening, photography, carefree bike rides with her family, and the solitude of a Cape Cod beach at sunset.

Editorial Assistant
Susan joined the staff of the Office of Marketing and Public Relations in April 2006 as editorial assistant. She graduated from Messiah College in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in psychology. An insatiable student, Susan completed a studio art major at Messiah and graduated again with the class of 2007.

In addition to painting and drawing, poetry, feature writing, dramatic monologues for worship, and writing for children are among Susan’s favorite freelance projects. She writes for and proofreads The Bridge and edits The Bridge Online.
 

MacKenzie MartinMackenzie Martin ′08

Mackenzie Martin ‘08, an art and English double major, thoroughly enjoys reading, writing, poetry, photography, and printmaking.  Her native habitate includes the library, Climenhaga Fine Arts Center, and friendly neighborhood bookstores.  Most recently, she can be found working for the Office of Marketing and Public Relations at Messiah College, writing short pieces for the President’s Report and The Bridge, aiding in the production of The Bridge Online, and honing her proofreading skills.

Erin Kriner ‘09 is a public relations major at Messiah College who enjoys working with people and stretching her mind to relate to and better serve them.  In her spare time, Erin enjoys playing tennis and listening to different kinds of music.  One day she hopes to work in media and community relations.  
   

Melissa PaolangeliMelissa Paolangeli ′09
Student Writer
Melissa Paolangeli ’09 is a communications major with a public relations and advertising concentration from Northern Virginia. Also a theatre minor, Melissa has appeared in several Messiah theatre department productions, including Godspell and Urinetown. When she is not performing on stage or writing for The Bridge, Melissa can be found in her kitchen pretending she’s a Food Network star, at home playing with her west highland terrier, Rigatoni, or outside watching the sunset.
